Krystin Albert BSN, RN, Chief Executive Officer
Krystin earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Rivier College. She has over 20 years of extensive healthcare experience across the continuum of care. Her previous experience in rehabilitation and sub-acute care provided her a wealth of knowledge that she has carried forward. In her previous role here as Director of Home Health Care and Hospice, and also her three months as Interim CEO, she was dedicated to the continued development of the Home Health Care and Hospice programs and team, to ensure community needs were met, and staff was always made to feel supported. Krystin understands there is a rising need for quality care services for seniors. Her desire to make a difference brought her to Franklin VNA & Hospice 6 years ago. Her nursing career has been dedicated to creating high quality, reliable systems of care and developing the next generation of nurses and health care professionals to lead in these ever-changing times. She’s approachable, professional, knowledgeable, always brainstorming, and maintains a calm and collected temperament under all circumstances. Krystin is good for a multitude of laughs in any given day, and has proven more than once how effectively she can lead a team, and create the buy-in needed for such a team to embrace her leadership and shared vision.
Amanda G. Gallagher, RN, BSN, CDP Director of Home Health and Hospice
A Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of New Hampshire, Amanda joins FVNA after completing a new memory care assisted living project in Dover, NH. As Executive Director and Director of Nursing at Spring Village at Dover, Amanda was tasked with hiring a Director Team and guiding them through all aspects of licensing a brand-new assisted living facility. Amanda will be bringing a practical, organized, and concise way of teaching and guiding to those she works with at FVNA. In her 15-plus years as a nurse, Amanda has worked in a variety of positions, from a Labor and Delivery Nurse to dual roles as Executive Director/Director of Nursing, and in each experience she has found opportunities to communicate best care practices for the population involved. It is important to Amanda that staff are well-trained not only for the sake of the client, but also for the comfort and confidence of the staff providing service. Her love of education has led to her currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in leadership.
Michael Lard, Information Technology Manager
Provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust, and secure information technology environment throughout Franklin VNA & Hospice. Michael brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience in information systems, information technologies, and operations. Michael oversees the architecture and implementation of all operational and business support systems that the organization uses to operate and manage the business. He began his tenure with the Franklin VNA & Hospice in 2002. Mike served in the US Navy for six years where he was trained as an Electronics Technician and stationed on the USS Seattle. While serving our country Michael was responsible for various satellite and long-range communications systems and was instrumental in the transition from an onboard mainframe system, to a network system. He received multiple awards for ensuring the readiness for the Y2K switch. Michael’s experience includes System Administrator. Michael played a vital role in the implementation of the Franklin VNA & Hospice Electronic Medical Record system.
Jennifer Boyce, Revenue Integrity Manager
Holds an Associate’s Degree in Medical Billing and Coding, specializing in both finance and accounting. Jenny has been in the healthcare industry for 8 years and has been a valuable asset for the Franklin VNA & Hospice over the past 2 years. As the Interim Revenue Integrity Manager, Jenny manages the Agency’s medical billing and accounts, has streamlined patient billing, collections, and the process of reimbursement practices. Jenny works with senior management to develop the annual operating budget for review and approval by the board of directors. She also prepares monthly financial reports for analysis and contributes to the maintenance of an accurate, up-to-date general ledger. She also provides daily hands-on service to internal and external stakeholders large and small, offering timely, creative solutions to meet their needs.
